Bad news does not encompass what this is

as it has caused me to grieve like I never have.

It isn't death and I don't have that experience to compare it to

but it certainly has caused me to grieve like I never have.

Sin has been put to death.

It has lost its power.

Defeated for eternity.

Still it beckons, still it yells over the wall that has been planted

between the former garden we tended to under Satan--full of death.

Now in the new garden of life, under Christ's reign,

there is no chance of sin's defeat over us.

There is no chance of sin's defeat over us.

New creations.

Made new by the sacrifice of Christ

and his defeat over sin.

Once and for all.

Once and for all.

Still it beckons and man falls.

Man falls and men suffer.

So many suffer.

The Savior suffered betrayal...

yet lived out the will of the Father to death.

Could I do this in my own life?

It feels daunting...

man falls and men suffer.

This is only the beginning of a long walk,

may my walk be one like my Savior's.

He guides

protects

provides

restores.

My Savior restores.

He has...

He will...

He will continue to...

Just like us, but in a different way:

Repent and believe...

Repent and believe...

Repent and believe...

and never stop.

There is no chance of sin's defeat over us.

This is the Good News.
